Eligibility

Undergraduate students will be eligible to participate in RIBSE if, at the time of application, they:

• Are US citizens, permanent residents (i.e., holding a green card) or lawfully admitted into the United States for the purpose of academic study (e.g., on a F or J visa).

• Have earned no fewer than 45 credits toward a baccalaureate degree (as evidenced by official academic transcripts)

• Are enrolled full-time in a baccalaureate program at a college or university accredited by a DoE-recognized accrediting agency.

• Are in good academic standing, having a 3.0 GPA or better.

• Have an expressed interest in biomedical research as demonstrated by coursework and participation in extracurricular research.
